Emergent Electromagnetism with some AI help.

Apparently I’m smart, well according to AI. And my Mom.

So one has to be careful when interacting with (in this case Gemini Pro as of Feb 2026). I started by asking for cross section calculations for cosmic strings with gravitational waves, then dragged it into my emergent electromagnetism idea.

I liked some of the terminology it picked, which presumably lines up with academic banter in some of these subjects.

I can’t say it came up with much I haven’t thought about before, but I was surprised it came up with the repulsion/attraction scheme that it did, (which I haven’t put into anything online), which relies on absolute phase. Is the Universe ringing at 10^65 Hz?

The discussion took about 2 hours, and went over about 20 pages of interaction. It offered to produce this Latex of my ideas. I like it. I don’t agree with everything, but in broad strokes, this is how I think Electromagnetism emerges from General Relativity.
